When creating this website, I wanted to choose a domain name that best reflected aspects of my personality. Completing both a B.S. in Computer Science and a degree in Music, I thought that combining the two would be appropriate.
 
One of my favorite styles of composition is a fugue. A fugal work exhibits several characteristics peculiar to the style. A fugue begins with a statement of the main theme, the subject, in a single voice. After the subject has been presented, it is echoed in a closely related key, usually the dominant. The response, known as an answer, is accompanied by the first voice which is now playing a "counter-subject," counterpoint against the subject.
 
This pattern is echoed until the subject has appeared in each voice - sometimes two, three, four or five voices! Most of the more complicated fugues are written for multiple instruments, however the organ is one of the few (if not the only) capable of playing more than four independent melodies at the same time!
 
Another side of my personality is my geekiness. Be it computers, dance or random electronics, I love talking about it.
 
I figured that by combining Music and Nerdom, I found a great combination for a website.
